HIGHLIGHTS | Scotland 1-3 Ukraine | FIFA World Cup Play-off Semi-Final

Scotland faced Ukraine at Hampden Park in the FIFA World Cup Semi-Final Play-off, with both teams looking to progress to the Play-off Final against Cardiff in Wales.

In an open first half, both sides pushed to create chances, with Craig Gordon pulling off several great saves. However, it was the visitors who went ahead in the 33rd minute, through Andriy Yarmolenko. A fast start from Ukraine in the second half then saw them double their lead through Roman Yaremchuk.

As the game approached the final quarter, Callum McGregor’s make-shift shot just managed to cross the line, despite the efforts of the Ukrainian defence. A strong period followed for Scotland, but they eventually caught on the break in the final minutes, as Artem Dovbyk completed the scoring late on.
