Sheikh Kamal 2nd Bangladesh Youth Games ended with interesting event 100m sprint. Naim Sheikh of Khulna division became the fastest man in this competition. Irene Akhter of Rangpur division won the crown of the fastest man in the young woman category.
The final day of the competition was played at the Army Stadium on Saturday. Chittagong division has won 146 medals with 49 gold, 40 silver and 57 bronze.
Athletes in three categories have fought hard in the medal list. Dhaka division came second with 146 medals including 46 gold, 39 silver and 61 bronze. The athletes of Khulna division who came third won 144 medals including 42 gold, 43 silver and 59 bronze.
Athletics and Wushu events were held on the last day. Naim clocked 10.80 seconds in the youth 100m sprint but could not break the Games record. In the first Youth Games in 2018, Hasan Mia of Chittagong division finished the race with a time of 10.60 seconds.
