YRF Spy Universe is thinking of a female-centric movie out of the stereotyped male-centric spy character. Where Rubina i.e. Deepika Padukone from ‘Pathan’ and Zoya i.e. Katrina Kaif from ‘Tiger’ will act.
According to Times of India, after the success of ‘Pathan’, screenwriter Sridhar Raghavan, in an interview given to News Eight, has revealed his plans to script a female-centric spy movie with Deepika and Katrina.
According to the screenwriter, “Bollywood has not worked with such a story before. I believe we can fill that gap. So I am planning to make a spy thriller centered on women. More projects can also be thought of with key characters from the Spy universe like Shah Rukh, Salman, Hrithik, Deepika and Katrina.”
Deepika stormed into action with Shah Rukh in the movie ‘Pathan’. On the other hand, Katrina was an important face in the ‘Tiger’ franchise of the YRF spy universe.
Deepika is currently shooting for the movie ‘Fighter’, in which she has teamed up with Hrithik Roshan for the first time. She is also in Shah Rukh Khan’s next movie ‘Jawaan’.
Katrina will next be seen in Sriram Raghavan’s thriller ‘Merry Christmas’. Besides, he will also act in ‘Zee Le Zara’ directed by Farhan Akhtar. Among them, ‘Tiger 3’ is releasing on November 10.
