Two bus passengers were arrested with four bags of human skeletons in Sherpur upazila of Bogra.
Ataur Rahman Khandkar, OC of Sherpur police station, said that they were arrested along with the skeleton after searching the bus in the Ghoga Battala area of the upazila on the Bogra-Dhaka highway around 8 am.
The arrested are: Rashed Khan (24) son of Mono Mia of Gamaria village of Dewanganj upazila of Jamalpur, Belal Hossain (26) son of Abdur Rashid of West Gamaria village.
OC Ataur Rahman said that they were arrested in a joint operation by the Sherpur police station and Bogra Narcotics Control Directorate and said that as part of the operation, checkpoints were set up on the road in that area. At that time, a Dhaka-bound passenger bus was stopped and searched, and two passengers were arrested along with 440 bones of human skeletons in four bags.
