Describing the mentality of most of the higher education students, he said, “They are worried about how to own a car and a house after entering the job. For his own petty interests, sometimes he does not hesitate to water down the big interests of the country and the nation.”
He said, “Businessmen are also busy thinking about how they can become big people by leaving aside ethics and morality by starting a business.
“Big businessmen and industrialists voluntarily defaulted on loans from various financial institutions.”
Out of a total of 15,219 students who participated in this year’s convocation, the President awarded gold medals to 16 students in three categories in the undergraduate and postgraduate categories.
Among those who participated in the convocation are 11 thousand 444 regular graduates and post graduates, 3 thousand 461 people from weekend program, 34 people from MPhil degree and 280 people who completed Ph.D.
Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui spoke as the convocation speaker.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. among others. Md. Nurul Alam, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sheikh Md. Manjurul Haque, Professor of Treasury. Rasheda Akhtar, Registrar Rahima Kaniz were present on the occasion.
