City Bank Limited will jointly work with Bangladesh Agricultural University in agricultural research as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
City Bank said in a press release that the two institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Under the MoU, both institutions will work together to establish knowledge partnerships, which will play an active role in education and human resource development in the agricultural sector with the aim of improving agricultural production, quality, capacity building and innovation.
According to the notification, City Bank will spend a large amount this year on agricultural research and agricultural development in Bangladesh as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). As one of the activities this year, this money will be spent to increase the capacity of agricultural research in higher education, collaborative agricultural development research and innovation, food and nutrition security.
