Not only on the big screen, Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ will also release in OTT; And that’s why the Delhi High Court has given a new direction to accept a condition.
Cine magazine Bollywood Life.com reported that keeping in mind the hearing-impaired audience, the court on Monday said that the movie must be ‘subtitled’ in Hindi for its release on the OTT platform.
The production company of ‘Paathan’ has been given time till February 20 to comply with this directive. Then the production company Yashraj Films will have to apply to the Central Board of Film Certificates of India to get a license.
The production company said that while Pathan was only subtitled in English, they will add Hindi subtitles following the court’s direction.
