Police recovered a buried body of Hanuman from a man’s house at Indurkani in Pirojpur.
On Monday afternoon, the body of Hanuman buried in the ground was recovered from behind Nurul Islam Kazi’s residence in Balipara village of the upazila, said the OC of Indurkani police station. Enamul Haque
Locals alleged that local marriage registrar Nurul Islam Kazi killed Hanuman by hitting him with an iron sword and buried him.
A few locals said without revealing their names, Balipara Union’s marriage registrar. At Nurul Islam’s house on Sunday (January 15) afternoon, when a group of wild Hanuman came in front of his house, he hit Hanuman with an iron sword. Hanuman died there. Later Nurul Islam buried Hanuman behind his house.
Later they reported the news to Pirojpur Forest Division and Indurkani Police Station.
