Argument over game in Cox’s Bazar led to murder, two youths were killed

In Cox’s Bazar city, two youths were killed and one injured in an attack by opponents ‘due to an argument over a badminton game’.

Inspector (Investigation) of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station said that the incident took place at Larpara near the central bus terminal of Cox’s Bazar city at 11:30 PM on Monday. Nazmul Haque.

The deceased are Saidul Islam (31) son of Nurul Huda of Larpara area and Qaiser Hamid (28) son of Abdul Hamid of the same area.

The injured Mufiz Uddin (21) is the son of the same Abdus Sattar. He is undergoing treatment at Cox’s Bazar District Sadar Hospital.

Regarding the relatives of the deceased, Nazmul Haque said that at night in Cox’s Bazar town, local youths were playing badminton together as usual. At one point there was an argument between the two. After a brief argument, both parties left the field.
