Bangladesh is in a tough group for women’s football selection in Paris Olympics

Bangladesh faced a tough opponent in the selection process for women’s football event of Paris Olympics. Their partners in Group ‘B’ are Iran, Myanmar and Maldives.

The selection draw was held on Thursday in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Asia region qualifiers for the women’s football event of the competition to be held in Paris, France in 2024 will begin on April 3 and end on April 11.

The venue for the qualifiers is yet to be decided. The qualifiers will be in three rounds. A total of 26 countries are participating in seven groups in the first phase. Each group champion team will advance to the next stage.
