Qatar has made it mandatory for those arriving from the country to show a Covid-negative certificate due to the increase in the number of Covid infections in China.
For negative certificate the covid test should be done within 48 hours of flight time. Qatar’s state news agency QNA reported this in a report on Monday.
The new rule will come into effect from Tuesday. Earlier, the United States, Australia, Japan, France, Spain, Italy and South Korea have also taken similar measures for arrivals from China.
Morocco became the first country last week to ban travelers from China from entering the country, effective January 3.
