6 people were killed and 2 injured after a passenger bus plunged off a bridge and fell into a river in northwestern Spain.
The country’s emergency services authorities confirmed the number of accidents and casualties on Sunday, Reuters reported.
Apart from a female passenger, the two injured include the 63-year-old driver of the bus. Firefighters pulled them from the river with the help of ropes and took them to a nearby hospital.
A police spokesman said that the test confirmed that the driver of the bus involved in the accident did not take drugs or alcohol.
