Those who went home in South Bengal after three days of government leave have started returning to Dhaka; Due to this, a traffic jam was seen at the South Toll Plaza of Padma Bridge in Shariatpur.
Kamal Hossain, Manager of Padma Setu South Toll Plaza, said that the pressure of vehicles started increasing after Sunday afternoon.
He said, “There are three days of public holidays and traffic jams are sometimes created as the pressure of vehicles is higher than other days. Also, it seems that the toll collection will be slightly higher than other days.”
