Chairman of Madea Union Parishad Abu Anshar. Rezaul Karim Shamim told the locals that a semi-molten body came out when the local workers were removing stones from the river at the boat sinking site in Auliya Ghat area of Karatoa river.
“After getting the news, the family members came and identified the body of Bhupendranath by looking at the clothes he was wearing and the mobile phone with him.”
He said that the body has been handed over to the family.
Boda police station OC Sujoy Kumar Roy said that the recovered body has been confirmed as that of missing Bhupendranath. The family members identified the body by looking at the clothes and mobile phone.
