Africa has more confidence in ‘native’ coaches

Cameroon will be in charge of Rigobert Song, who has the most experience playing for the country. Similarly home boy Jalel Kadri was selected by Tunisia and Otto Addo by Ghana.

“(Regarding European coaches) these guys may have past success and be good coaches in Europe, but African football needs the right coach at the right time.”

“Someone who understands African football and culture, understands the pros and cons of working in an African team and can bring out the best in players is needed.”

Cisse, football fans will be curious to see how much Jalel will be able to do it in this World Cup.
