Elon Musk fired four of the company’s top executives after completing the acquisition of Twitter last week. The question is, who is running Twitter now?
The Washington Post reports that Elon Musk has created a small council to understand Twitter’s situation and start implementing his vision, as he ousts the old ones. The small group includes Musk’s personal lawyer, his chief of staff, several investor friends and a former Twitter executive who left Twitter years ago.
The new team has already completed mass layoffs, begun negotiating the company’s content moderation plan, and created a paid user verification package. In addition, the team also sat down with advertisers, who are now trying to understand Twitter’s current activities from afar and from whom the majority of the platform’s revenue has come.
It’s not yet clear how long the team will run Twitter like this, but for now, they’re tasked with keeping the company afloat and growing its revenue. Let’s see who is in this assembly list-
