Neha Gowda got married to her childhood friend, Chandan Gowda, on 18 February 2018.
Neha and Chandan started dating each other in school. She studied from pre-nursery to high school with him in the same school. In an interview, she revealed that, during their school days, Chandan used to throw paper balls at her, which had ‘I Love You’ written on them.

She played the role of Mythili in ETV Networks’ Telugu show ‘Swathi Chinukulu,’ which was released in 2013. In 2014, she was cast to play the lead role of Gayathri Surya in Sun TV’s Tamil-language show ‘Kalyana Parisu.’ In 2020, she appeared in Sun TV’s Tamil show ‘Roja,’ in a cameo role. She participated in the Kannada dance reality show ‘Takadhimita’ in 2019. In 2021, she was cast to play the role of Gunavathy in Star Vijay’s Tamil-language TV show ‘Paavam Ganesan.’ In 2021, Neha Gowda and her husband participated in Colors Kannada’s couple-based-reality show ‘Raja Rani.’ In an interview, while talking about her husband, Chandan, for not being from an acting background, she said,
I am excited to shoot with my husband Chandan, who is not from an acting background. Besides our normal wedding videos, this is the first time my husband is facing the camera on-screen, that too in a couple-based reality show. He is equally excited and nervous as I am. It’s fun to shoot with my husband. One positive thing to look out for is that we are getting to spend a lot of time with each other which usually does not happen due to our busy work schedules.”
On 21 November 2021, they became the winners of the show ‘Raja Rani’ and also won a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh.
In 2013, she worked in a Kannada-language short film, “Take Off,” opposite actor Vallabh Suri.
In 2020, she acted in the thriller film “Avarice,” directed by Prajwal Shyale; she played the character of Asthra.
